1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how CaveCoreDynamics LLC ("CaveCoreDynamics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ÜrTC™ (Your Travel Companion) mobile and web application (the "App") and our website at cavecoredynamics.org (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: email address, username, and password credentials, managed through Firebase Authentication.
• Content you create: saved trips, itineraries, preferences, and the messages you type or speak to the Apollo AI assistant.
• Communications: messages you send to our support, sales, or privacy teams.

Information collected automatically

• Location data: approximate and/or precise device location, collected only with your permission, to power location-based features such as nearby airports, local weather, and maps. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
• Usage and device data: app interactions, feature usage, crash reports and diagnostics (via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics), device identifiers, operating system, browser type, language, and IP address.
• Advertising identifiers: mobile advertising IDs (Apple IDFA / Google GAID) and cookies, used for advertising and analytics as described in Section 6.

Payment information

Subscriptions purchased inside the iOS or Android app are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies. Purchases made on the web are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and transaction records but never store your full card details.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate App functionality, including flight tracking, trip planning, weather, maps, and the Apollo AI assistant.
• Create and authenticate your account and sync your data across devices.
• Process subscription payments and manage your plan tier.
• Display advertising to users on the free (Silver) tier.
• Analyze usage, diagnose crashes, improve performance, and develop new features.
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, security notices, and support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information on these legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request), consent (precise location, personalized advertising — which you may withdraw at any time), legitimate interests (analytics, security, service improvement), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this Policy will continue to apply to previously collected data).

6. Advertising, Cookies & Tracking

• Users on the free (Silver) tier see advertisements served by Google AdMob/AdSense. Paid tiers remove third-party ads.
• We and our partners use cookies and mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure analytics, and deliver ads.
• iOS: personalized advertising and tracking occur only if you allow it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Android: you can opt out of ads personalization or reset/delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
• You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, your Firebase Authentication record is removed immediately and your Firestore profile and saved trips are permanently deleted within 30 days. We may retain limited records (such as transaction history) where required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other legal purposes, and aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information, and receive a portable copy of it.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
• California (CCPA/CPRA): know what personal information we collect and how it is used, delete it, correct it, opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising), and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. To opt out of ad-related sharing, use the device controls in Section 6 or contact us.
• EEA/UK (GDPR): lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any right, email privacy@cavecoredynamics.org from the address associated with your account. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days) and may need to verify your identity first.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users aged 13 and older and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@cavecoredynamics.org and we will promptly delete it.

11. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, Firebase security rules, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

12. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data on servers that may be located in the U.S. or other countries. Where required, transfers from the EEA/UK are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy mechanism used by our providers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the App or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CaveCoreDynamics LLC ("CaveCoreDynamics," "we," "us") governing your use of the ÜrTC™ (Your Travel Companion) mobile and web application (the "App") and our website (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, downloading, installing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms and the usage rules of the app store from which you obtained the App. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@cavecoredynamics.org.
• You may delete your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Free Tier

• ÜrTC offers a free tier (supported by advertising) and paid subscription tiers with additional features.
• Purchases in the iOS app are made through Apple In-App Purchase and billed to your Apple Account. Purchases in the Android app are made through Google Play Billing and billed to your Google account. Web purchases are processed by Stripe.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Canceling: manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple Account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions); Google Play subscriptions in Play Store → Payments & subscriptions; web subscriptions in the App's account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: purchases made through Apple or Google are subject to their respective refund policies and must be requested through them. Web purchase refund requests: support@cavecoredynamics.org.
• Price changes: we will give you reasonable advance notice of price changes, which take effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before the change applies.
• Free trials (if offered) convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.

7. Apollo AI Assistant

The Apollo assistant uses artificial intelligence (including Google Gemini) to generate responses. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or travel advice. You are responsible for verifying AI-generated information before relying on it.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems;
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Services, or resell or redistribute App data (including flight and weather data) without our written permission;
• Upload malicious code or content that is infringing, defamatory, or abusive;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Use the Services to develop a competing product or service.

9. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as trip plans and messages). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit.

10. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and the ÜrTC™ and Apollo™ names and marks, are owned by CaveCoreDynamics LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party data is provided under license from providers including FlightAware and OpenWeatherMap and remains the property of those providers.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on third-party services (including Google Firebase, Google Maps, Google Gemini, Google AdMob, FlightAware, OpenWeatherMap, Stripe, Apple, and Google Play). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Apple App Store — Additional Terms

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

• These Terms are between you and CaveCoreDynamics only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service (except as accessible via Family Sharing or volume purchasing).
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. CaveCoreDynamics, not Apple, is responsible for support (see Section 17).
• If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
• CaveCoreDynamics, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection claims.
• In the event of a third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual-property rights, CaveCoreDynamics, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Google Play — Additional Terms

If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. These Terms are between you and CaveCoreDynamics only; Google is not responsible for the App and has no obligation to provide support for it.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Services (with reasonable notice where practicable). Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 10, and 15–19) survive.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAVECORE DYNAMICS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50). THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CaveCoreDynamics LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring claims in your local courts.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

21. Contact

Option 1 — Delete In the App (fastest)

1. Open the ÜrTC app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm your choice. Deletion begins immediately.

Option 2 — Request Deletion by Email

Email us from the address associated with your ÜrTC account. We will verify your identity and confirm once deletion is complete.

Or write to privacy@cavecoredynamics.org with the subject "Account Deletion Request," including your account email address. We process verified requests within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

• Immediately: your Firebase Authentication record (login credentials) is permanently removed.
• Within 30 days: your profile, saved trips, itineraries, preferences, and Apollo conversation history are permanently deleted from our databases.

What May Be Retained

• Transaction and billing records, kept only as long as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
• Aggregated or de-identified analytics data that can no longer identify you.

Delete Your Data Without Closing Your Account

If you want certain data removed (for example, saved trips or Apollo chat history) but wish to keep your account, email privacy@cavecoredynamics.org describing what you'd like deleted, or clear individual items directly in the App.
